NEW LOCATION FOR 2024 CLASSES
As we continue our search for a new permanent home for the Couples Massage Workshop we invite everyone to explore new and unique locations all around the Twin Cities with us. We will be holding classes at all sorts of relaxing venues, zen centers and chill spaces wherever they are, so be sure to pay special attention to where each class will be held when purchasing. Until June 2024 classes will be held at The Center for PerformIng Arts. The Center for Performing Arts is a great new location to hold our Couples Massage Workshop. With its spacious and sun lit rooms our relaxing class will fit right among a new community of bodywork healers and performers. Nestled in a cozy South Uptown neighborhood with wine bars and tapas restaurants nearby attending classes here makes for a great date night. Come check out the new vibes!

Learn to give a healing massage in this in-person event for two. Grab a partner and learn together the techniques and skills to relieve, relax and revive with your hands.
Both attendees will have a chance to practice giving a massage to their partner and receiving the massage. This class will focus teaching methods to use on the head, neck, shoulders and back and techniques that relax muscles, relieves pain and soothes the body. We will practice different types of massage from Swedish to Thai starting on a chair and ending up on soft cushions on the floor.
We welcome all types of couples and partnerships. (Romantic partnerships, friendships, family, etc.) One ticket includes the workshop for two people. Limited space available.
$125/couple

City dwellers, it's time to swap with us at the most unique swap in town! In honor of Earth Day on Monday, April 22nd, 2024, we invite you to finish your spring cleaning by bringing your extra, gently used clothes to this local clothing swap.

A clothing swap is a clothing exchange where people share their once loved, and gently used clothing with others who share theirs. Just gather your unwanted clothes from last year or any season and bring them to the swap where they may find a new home, new style and live on for many more years. Search piles of other peoples items to build your wardrobe in a no cost exchange between fashion lovers.
One of the most obvious benefits of swapping your clothes is the benefit to the environment. Clothing swaps promote slow fashion vs. fast fashion and are an environmentally friendly reuse strategy that helps reduce our environmental footprint while supporting a circular economy. Besides, you'll get a fresh wardrobe, at no additional charge while building community and donating to those in need. All leftover clothing will be donated locally. A true win-win shopping experience!
All extra clothing donated to Homebase, a local organization that distributes free clothing to unhoused people year round. Help us get them ready for the Rise & Remember Celebration at George Floyd Square on Memorial Weekend (May 27th, 2024 - Chicago Ave &, E 38th St, Minneapolis, MN 55407) where they will be will host a clothing giveaway for anyone in need.

CHECK OUT OUR SWAP RULES AND INFO:
All genders, all sizes, all seasons adult clothing and accessories.
YES: Tops, vests, bottoms, leggings, tights, suits, fitness wear, swim suits, sleep/robes, winter gear, belts, hats, bags, shoes.
NO: Children's or baby clothes, undergarments, socks, bras or boxers.
So fresh and so clean: All clothing items must be freshly washed.
One man's trash...is still trash: Please only bring freshly washed, reuseable clothing items. No holes, smells, stains, broken zippers, missing buttons, rips, pet hair, etc.
Sharing is caring: While there will be no ticket/token system to regulate what each person brings and takes, remember to be fair, courteous and generous with one another.
Duel at dawn: But if two people discover the same item at the same time, the dispute must be settled with rock, paper, scissors OR a coin toss. All results are final.
Give us recycled life: The Best Swap Upcycled Look wins a set of reuseable freezer bags! Awarded in the LiveTV Events Facebook group after the event.*
RSVP appreciated: Typically we welcome over 100 swappers who bring the best, most interesting goodies to dig through. No tickets are required for the event, but we'd love to get an estimate on how many we'll be expecting so an RSVP through Eventbrite would be greatly appreiated.
Covid Precautions: Face masks and hand sanitizer will be available for those in need
Parking: Street parking is available. Carpools encouraged.

Voting on Best Upcycled Look begins after submission and closes at 11:59pm April 25th. Post with the most LIKES/LOVES (no other reactions count) wins a set of reuseable freezer bags!
